I watched that TED Talk when it ...It's funny... I watched that TED Talk when it was posted online and listened to a Radiolab podcast that was about the talk and I didn't really pick up on her metaphysical comments until you just mentioned it. But you're definitely right that it is sort of pseudo-religion, maybe kind of a buddhist look at things. It kind of makes me wonder if she was a Christian if she would have seen it differently. Maybe the "light" that people on their deathbed report to have seen.<br /><br />I'm probably going to have to attempt to ignore this blog until the post the talks online so I can watch them first. It makes me jealous that you get to hear all the cool talks before I do!
